Hugh’s story

Hugh saw active service several years ago. He called the ASAP helpline for help with completing a benefits claim form. ASAP arranged for his local citizens advice bureau to provide support with completing the form. As Hugh was suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and feeling low, the helpline also put him in touch with Combat Stress. Hugh was very appreciative of the help he received:

“The speed at which the help was available was fantastic, as was the professionalism of the people I spoke to. They really bust a gut to get it done. It took a weight off my shoulders knowing the form was professionally and truthfully filled in and there was no way they could fault it.”
